About this event

Course Description (This is an online-only event)

As you can tell by the title, we are hitting the slopes of Clinical Education this academic year with a “skiing” theme! How fitting for many adventures in the great Northwest, though, as it's all about preparation. Join us in the second session of a 3-part series as we explore the essential elements of clinical education. Whether you have years of experience skiing the slopes of supervision, or you are entering this snowy role for your 1st time, we know that you’ll find this 2020 kick-off session to be a rewarding venture.

On January 21st, we’ll meet by the fireplace in the "lodge" via Zoom, our online webinar service. There will not be an in-house presentation. Pull up a warm beverage and invite a fellow skier or two from your program to hit the slopes from the comfort of their own office or home, as well!

Guest Speaker

Our featured skier will be Megan Caldwell, MS, CCC-SLP. Megan Caldwell joined the Speech and Hearing Sciences faculty as a clinical instructor in 2013.
